Lilian Wangari is a business woman entrepreneur whose experience started as a salon owner in Nairobi, which she successfully ran. Starting in 2005, she owned and operated Amma, a popular restaurant in Westlands Nairobi, which she operated for over five years. The restaurant obtained and retained high sales volume due to its friendly customer service, quality food, fascinating entertainment and beverages. This was achieved due to her ability to train and maintain a well-trained and motivated staff. Her ability to manage and motive a crew is a key quality that she brings to Regeneration.

From 2010 to 2011 Ms. Wangari was a principal in Nardin, a business partnership which made wine from indigenous Kenya fruits. Her key responsibility was in sales and marketing of the product.

In 2011 Ms. Wangari and Mr. Ngaruiya jointly started Regeneration, an environmental recycling company. Her key responsibilities have been in procurement of recyclable materials, personnel management and book keeping.
